Symantec Antivirus (SAV) Upgrade

All faculty, staff and student central file server (H: drive) quota has increased to 1GB as of May 5, 2008.

In February 2007, the Desktop Systems Council and OIT approved the migration of all DeSC machines to Windows Vista between January 2008 and August 2009.

OIT has begun the construction of an “information infrastructure” that will include massive central data storage, comprehensive data repositories, and simple-to-use collaboration software.

WWS has four network copier/scanners that provide the ability to Scan to E-Mail.

If you wish to regularly send and/or receive faxes from your computer, you can sign up for a MyFax account. MyFax is a convenient Internet service that lets you send and receive faxes through your e-mail, and replaces the OIT Campus Fax Gateway as the recommended and supported process for faxing from your computer.

OIT is aware of some users having problems printing PDF files since being upgraded to Acrobat / Reader 8.11.
